Mini-Split Line-Set Length Planning

“Line-set length” can describe several different things. Mixing them can produce an incorrect bundle expectation or installation plan.

Keep the fields separate

  • Included bundle length: the line set sold with the exact SKU.
  • Manufacturer nominal or standard length: the reference length used in a manual or specification table.
  • Minimum and maximum run: installation limits for the exact equipment.
  • Maximum elevation difference: a separate vertical constraint.
  • Additional refrigerant rule: any documented requirement beyond a stated length.

Trace every value

Use the current installation manual for the exact indoor and outdoor models, and keep the sellable bundle mapping with the Shopify variant. Do not infer a limit from a SKU or filename.

Resolve conflicts before design

If a service table and customer installation manual present different planning values, record both and identify the customer-facing controlling source rather than silently choosing the larger number.
